Blood for the Nations
“I painted this piece a year ago, I believe in May. I was moved to paint due to the passing of my friends brother. I felt brokenness which lead each stroke. Once I finished painting the canvas, God lead me through a story that was behind the colors and the painting itself. Cherry blossoms are beautiful flowers that, once bloomed, only last for a few weeks, God reminded me that,
‘The life of mortals is like grass, They flourish like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,” Psalm 103:15-17′
as I looked over the continents painted in red, I heard God telling me that, ‘each continent all over the world is covered by the blood of Jesus, Jesus loves the world, God loves the World.’ I was amazed and humbled at the story that God unfolded before my eyes, He truly lead the painting the whole time.”
